Planning your visit

We are a seasonal, outdoor ice rink located at 120 South Market Street between the San Jose Museum of Art and Signia by Hilton San Jose at the Circle of Palms Plaza.

We recommend parking in a ParkSJ garage that offers 90 minutes of free parking. You can access a live parking map at parksj.org. The 3 closest garages are Market and San Pedro, Second and San Carlos and/or the Convention Center garage.

Are skates included? Skates are free with your price of admission.

Can I bring my own skates?
You are welcome to bring your own skates! We will have a couple nights throughout the season where skaters with their own skates get a discount on admission - we call it BYOS, Bring Your Own Skate nights. Follow us on Instagram (@sjdowntownice) for discounts, promos and special hours.

Do you have skate helpers for skaters?
We do! A limited number of Skate Helpers can be rented online. Additional Skate Helpers can be rented at the rink with a credit or debit card.

I forgot socks. Can I still skate?

Socks can be purchased at the rink with a credit or debit card.

How long can I skate?
Skate sessions are 90 minutes. In order to maximize your skating time, we recommend you arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to your session.

I wear a 1/2 size. What size skate should I get?
We only have whole sizes and recommend you size down. Skates should be laced all the way up and feel snug.
